Evergreen Yearbook: 2025 Edition
2025 was a defining year for Evergreen Hospitality Group — a year of transformation, renewal, and meaningful progress across our portfolio. From major property reimaginings to new acquisitions, this year delivered milestones that reflect who we are and where we’re headed.
The Evergreen Yearbook captures the moments, achievements, and stories that shaped our year, offering a look back at the growth and momentum that will carry us into 2026.
Painter’s Lodge – A New Chapter Begins
One of the most significant moments of the year was the acquisition of Painter’s Lodge, followed by a complete refresh of its visual identity. This transition marks the beginning of an exciting new chapter for one of British Columbia’s most iconic waterfront lodges, blending its legacy with an updated and refined brand direction.
Sea Edge Beachside Hotel – A Renewed Oceanfront Retreat
Sea Edge Beachside Hotel underwent a transformative renovation, infusing its oceanfront suites with renewed comfort, elegance, and modern design. With refreshed interiors and enhanced guest amenities, including Parksville’s only oceanfront sauna, the property continues to elevate its position as a beloved beachfront retreat on Vancouver Island.
Waterways – A Reimagined Experience in Powell River
In February, the iconic Waterways, A Boutique Hotel re-opened following an extensive interior & exterior renovation. With its iconic location in the heart of Powell River, Waterways plays a unique role facilitating travel between Vancouver Island and the Sunshine Coast. The contemporary coastal aesthetic reflects a thoughtful approach to comfort, relaxation, and connection to place.
Inn The Mountains – A Transformation in Hope
This year marked the re-launch of Inn The Mountains in Hope under a new brand identity. Following a full transformation, the property now offers modern guestrooms, refreshed amenities, and welcoming communal spaces designed for comfort and ease while exploring the Fraser Valley.
Pinnacle Award – Regional Company of the Year
A standout moment of 2025 was Evergreen Hospitality Group being honoured with the Pinnacle Award for Regional Company of the Year, one of the most respected recognitions in Canadian hospitality. This award celebrates the dedication of our teams, the evolution of our properties, and our shared commitment to advancing hospitality across British Columbia.
Team Growth & Internal Achievements
This year also represented meaningful growth for our Evergreen family. Our team grew by 24%, with 13 internal promotions that reflect continued dedication and professional development across our portfolio. We also welcomed dozens of team members from other industries and parts of the world, giving us the privilege of playing a small role in helping families build towards a strong future. These achievements speak to the true heart of Evergreen - our commitment to creating opportunities and celebrating the talented individuals who make this possible every day.
Community Contributions & Social Impact
Our dedication to community engagement remained strong. Evergreen continued its ongoing support for the life-changing work of the Aga Khan Development Network as a Transformational Sponsor of the World Partnership Walk, reinforcing our commitment to uplifting communities and investing in meaningful social impact.
Looking Ahead to 2026
With several major transformations completed this year and new projects already underway, Evergreen Hospitality Group enters 2026 with gratitude, momentum, and a clear vision for the future. We are proud of the progress made in 2025 and look forward to building on this foundation as we continue to elevate guest experiences, strengthen our teams, and invest in meaningful growth across our expanding portfolio.
